Jason has over 20 years of executive, investment, and financial services experience. During his time as VP of Value Partners Investments, Jason worked alongside some of the most trusted Portfolio Managers in Canada. Jason has also spent time in the field of technology (software) and worked, for more than a decade, in progressively senior roles at MasterCard International. Jason has also completed several Canadian Securities Institute courses and holds certifications as an Exempt Market, Alternative Mutual Funds and Hedge Funds, and Exchange Traded Funds Advisor.
Jason believes his independent JR Private Wealth business can provide a very high level of personal service that clients of all ages can rely on for generations. Jason's background in athletics informs his collaborative approach and competitive spirit. His clients benefit from his interest in their financial goals and his vast network of high caliber professionals (accountants, tax specialists, lawyers, real estate agents, etc.) who are always eager to offer additional support and services.
Jason is the father of two amazing daughters, Avery and Grace, he's an avid hockey player, golfer, water skier, handyman and motorcycle enthusiast. He is an active member of the community, a devoted hockey fan, and a Durham College and Brock University alumni (B.A.). Jason also pursues continuous educational credits to expand his knowledge of the financial industry regularly.
Starting with a major national trust company, Greg entered the new field of financial planning in 1985. He felt that everyone, not just the wealthy, needed an array of financial and investment choices coupled with competent financial advice to help them achieve their goals.
A member of the Financial Planner Standards Council of Canada, The Canadian Academy of Senior Advisors and the Peterborough Estate Planning Council, Greg is committed to ongoing education and development.
